"Start with a deep industrial cleaning and pay attention to grout, tile, countertops, faucets, walls and floors," says Pamela. "Freshen your paint with neutral colors, change the knobs and burner plates on your stove and update kitchen cabinet knobs and drawer pulls."
Pamela says readying your home for sale doesn't have to be expensive and that little things can go a long way to let buyers know your space has been well maintained. "Display a few personal touches like family photos, and burn a candle with a light, clean fragrance, but keep your rooms free of everyday clutter."
Pamela appears on Good Company every month as the show's interior design expert. On August 7, her segment focused on exterior makeover tips for home sellers.
