  Glam green

By Karin Connelly

Springtime comes indoors with one of the hottest colors of the season: pale green. "I think it's popular because it's a happy color," says Pamela Bayer, an interior designer in Hudson.

Here are three ways to use green:

Amazing Accents. Paint the interior panels of a white bookcase a pale green to add dimension. Put down a fresh green rug and accent the color by trimming the room the same shade.

Primary Color. Paint the walls green, but keep the trim and ceiling white for a clean, fresh look.

Floral Prints. Use floral prints with green hues in pillows or curtains to accentuate the color on the walls.
