The temperature won't be the only thing cooling this month. The color forecast for the coming season brings a mixed palette of hues that will shine like summer and change like fall.

Now's the perfect time to freshen your interior decor with affordable seasonal elements. Here's what's in, according to the Color Marketing Group:

Chameleon colors - This has been a big year for special finishes, and this fall will see even more colors that morph as the light changes. Whether it's flooring, tabletops or fabrics, look for colors that keep changing as you stare at them. Is it green, gray or brown? It all depends on the light!

Cool grays and silvers - Browns have prevailed for a long time, especially browns with blues. But starting this fall, the browns are getting warmer and yellower to make room for cool grays. These grays will be the key new neutrals, and along with them, expect to see a lot of shining silver. Grays and silvers will look and feel very new straight through the holidays.
